i really dont like 6 string basses. i can deal with 5 string basses because ernie ball and fender make some hot 5 strings. but any 6 string by any company is not [in my opinio] worth buying. if you're a really good musician, four strings should be enough :D

6 string basses are for classical guitar players with really big fingers and the ability to hear only low note. bullshit.

Yeah, maybe a red star burst Gibson. Nah, any color is fine, I just want one now so that I can get good, then I will go with a custom color.
