| Okay so i play bass... and on guitar, i really cant do bar chords. As sad as that sounds, i cant! And... I need some tips on switching from chord to chord quickly because i have trouble doing that. |

well, you need to train your fingers. take something and lift it with the end of the index finger, bending at the bottom knuckle. just make sure you keep your finger perfectly straight. it's a different part of the muscle that controls that action.
for speed, i got my speed up by just taking either an e-frame or a-minor-frame bar and going fret by fret all the way up until about 12. then, once i got good at that, switch from e to a-minor on every fret down the line. after that, learn some ska tunes. ltj and the suicide machines are good and simple lines, and they have some good fast changes to get you used to it. |
