Bands I dislike from Punk Rock

i can't stand the white stripes(idon't know if i typed it right but i don't care) also i hate weezer and the offspring and that tecno suff just saying
thats pretty munch it ... o and the foo fighters. o and colplay i [color=darkred][/color] I HATE THEM THE MOST

I have pretty open tastes in rock music, so it's hard to say.

I guess if I had to choose one (other than Simple Plan), it would be NOFX. As in, just about everything NOFX have done since 1992 (all the stuff they did before '92 was awesome). They think that just because they talk about getting drunk, hating the government and clams having feelings that they can get away with sounding just like an early Blink 182 album (like Cheshire Cat). Then, as if that wasn't insulting enough to your intelligence, NOFX try to act like the 'punk rock police', saying how punk should be and how it shouldn't be. As a fan, that just embarrasses me.

most of em are taken now, i dont like sheer terror, they try to infuse heavy metal and punk, it sounds like GWAR minus the good

Yeah, all of those bands are pretty overrated...

I hate the Dead Kennedys, NOFX, Rancid... as well as the MTV"punk" bands like Sum41, Blink 182, White Stripes...

Dead Kennedys.

i dont really like them all that well as well. Okay they had some decent tunes on their first record. They were good for their time i suppose. Jello also had some funny live comics.

But i cant stand Jello Biafira's whiney-sarcastic comical lefty ranting etc... It's just annoying and doesnt do it for me. Espically after all these bands (anti-flag, etc.) cliched it to death.

-The Mentors

I don't think that the White Stripes are bad. I actually think they're pretty cool, although to me I've always thought of them as more of a weird alternative rock fusion thing. I don't know.

Their album Elephant kicks ass.
