Sid Vicious... nazi?

ok so im really confused now, like ivetried to find out about this but i cant ehm yeah well ive seen a picture with sid wearing nazi shirt but also read and interview saying he would like to die fighting the national front, but also a bio where he is described as uber neo naxi with descriptions of austriwch (whatever spelling) murders and stuff anybody know anything about this?

personally i hate the whole sex pistols / sid vicous picture i mean really they are the opposite of DIY and sid was not really that punk he was just a fucken shit panty addict, anyway anyone know anything about this

Wearing swazis was just a stupid fashion statement meant to shock people. A lot of the 70's Punks wore swazis but did not consider themselves racist, including the Pistols.

well i dont really care to much about sid ... i think he was a total ****-up ...
but on the subject of swastikas ..... the symbol did not originate with the nazis ...
it was actually a hindu religious symbol that meant peace and harmony .... but people just dont know about this ...
and now its a symbol of terror ....

I’m sure you know this, but maybe some other people don’t: The Swastika was used in many different cultures to mean positive things, including India, Native America, Greece, China and Europe. The word “swastika” basically means “to be good” in Sanskrit. Unfortunately, the Nazis abused the symbol to the point where it cannot be taken back to its original purpose… especially when worn in the Nazi red armband like the Punks did in the 70’s. (Idiots!) As part of a book, I studied other symbols that were stolen by the Nazis and there are quite a few of them, mostly from ancient Scandinavian myth and culture. The SS is the Sowilo rune doubled, for example. Sowilo means “sun” and “life force”.

I agree with you about Sid, too. He was a total fk up.

Sid was not a **** up. He was the very image of punk. Nihilist, dangerous, and fun loving. It was Nancy that took him down the path of drugs and eventually cuased the break up of the band. I really think that the Sex Pistols should of kept Glenn Matlock, but he went on to greater things in the Rich Kids and then to Iggy so, yeah, paybacks a bitch. Anyway, Nancy acted as sort of a Jewish mother to Sid, telling him and everyone that he was the Sex Pistols and the greatest thing to walk the earth. It was a sad story. But we really can't blame Sid or criticize him for being a **** up. After all, aren't we all? Especially Punks. Oh! And by the way, the swazika was the Buddhist symbol of er...something. The Nazis reversed the direction of it to clockwise and made it there symbol. Punks are not nazis or communists or anything like that. The symbol was probably worn to, if anything, poke fun at tyranny and the Nazi system and how the government is becoming more like it every day.
