green day was good back in the lookout days, and dookie was good too. After that, pretty bad. I like the song Jaded, though.

it's a shame that even green day sold out! i guess there's more money in an audience of 13 year old girls.

They used to be fantastic and now they're very pop. Out of curiosity i bought american idiot some bits were good, some bits dragged on. But up until then i had every green day song and loved seeing them live, but now i can't even tell you what they're lastest song is.

They're not a Punk Rock band. Their music is literally written for commercial success. That's not Punk. If you write from your heart and people like it therefore you become successful, that's one thing , but to dress up like Punk Rockers and write songs that will appeal to the masses is quite another story.
Real Punks don't even dress that way any more. It's a ******* uniform that goes against everything we stand for. At one time it was cool because it was rebellious, now little' everyone and their grand mother has tatts and Pink Hair. PUNK IS AN ATTITUDE!

Bottom line, I guess I like Green Day better than Usher or P.Diddy, but not much.
