Oh wow. This discussion (or a similar one) is always up and it's so annoying!
Here's my story:
I was probably 11 when I started getting into Green Day when I heard Insomniac for the first time.
Now I'm sixteen, and yeah, I'd have to agree they've sold out. I don't like their new stuff at all.
But, they were my first favourite band, so the sentimental value is still there..I've got most of their cds and I'm working on the rest just so that I have them. I want to remember what kind of music I was into and whatever else. Besides, their old stuff was really good. (everyone knows that) But makeup=nono and billie joe=hell no

I really like Green Day. I'm not a hardcore fan or anything, but the fact that they wear makeup and alot of people know who they are doesn't change the fact that I think they make good music. Of course their new stuff is different than their old stuff, alot of bands evolve and change. But I think its totally unfair that people rip on them because they make money doing what they love. But hey, thats just my two cents :)

| Hy,you probably don't know me but i listen to Green Day alsow,it's one of my favourite bands ever,i don't know why some people don't like them,they have great music,and there not so bad looking at all.... |
