| I need a drum set. Parents say it's too expensive. Need to find very cheap set. can't get anything from ebay, parents say that some pictures of drums don't look like that when they arrive. Any suggestions? |

if you live near or in canada, go to long & mcquades. They sell cheap, full drumsets to people in a mortgage type situation. Either that or go with lawn's idea, and start simple, adding little bits here and there. (I'd personally start with bass, hi hat, snare, & either floor tom or crash).
Then expand to 2 more toms, then a ride, then a secondary crash, then splash, then china, then double bass, and then just pick random cymbals/toms/cowbells to buy from there. |

ever try craigslist?
you can get a bunch of good stuff from around were you live.
you might even be able to get a free kit...maybe... |
