haha, well, lyrically some of RBF's stuff and catch 22, and a tad of five iron frenzy's lyrics could be emo.. but thats it

Emo was a subgenre of punk that started in late 80's/early 90's and like goth and punk also became a lifestyle. Typical clothing for emos is band shirts, eyeliner, tight black pants, studded belts and black died hair. Emos are mistaken for goths alot but really arent even close although the music they listen to is pretty similar. later some more hardcore emo bands or "screamo" bands came out that got more people into it. At the moment Emo is a trend like Punk was in the 80's but in a few years it wont be as popular and the true fans will stick with it. that is a picture of what the trendy emo kids look like who are joining the scene just because its a trend. Most emo kids are very depressed and often "cut". They would much rather play the old nintendo then a PS2 and usually like vinyl more than cd's and well thats all i really no about it. |

you forgot the emo haircut
simalar to the punk's mohawk and chaos spikes, the goths long black hair, and the hardcore's awful gaircut, most emo kids have a "reverse mullet" short hair in the back, long in the front, usually going down to the bridge of the nose, and coming together in a V shape like tha fat onea in the far right of the picture |

| The people above are the ones I've been hearing about. I hear they're prone to spontaneous combustion. It's one of the 130 freaky things that I've heard in the last 24 months that defies logic and explanation. As they say, "Je ne cais pas mon frere." |
