Alright, here's a game: You list all of your favorite bands, then give a nice text evaluation of the above user's list!
For example, Chump Change can make the list:
Linkin Park
Simple Plan
Usher
KoRn
Good Charlotte
...And then Death Scourge can say:
Your list is full of over-regurgitated cookie-cutter filler, packed to the spine with undetermined and improperly driven lyrics ranging from whiny teenybopper angst to lyrical repetivity in worship of cheesy and untalented rap-rock fusion. As if that wasn't condescending enough, the either melodic yet bubblegumish and poorly sturck 1-chords or overly detuned repetitive mosh riffs meet a lame standardized drum pattern that make Meg White seem like Bill Ward, and then it's all topped off with either a starved and berserked cookie monster on vocals or a whining 12-year-old going through puberty and having just got a year off from auditioning for NSync. If you want to have any hopes of saving yourself, start off with a nice helping of Fugazi, otherwise get the **** off of this forum.
Metallica
Fugazi
Thin Lizzy
Reagan Youth
Qwestion
Ok, so that's the example. Let's start with me. This is only my favorite bands that I have music for, however.
7 Seconds
AC/DC
Alice In Chains
Bad Religion
Black Flag
Black Sabbath
Chain of Strength
Dysrhythmia
Guttermouth
Jon Cougar Concentration Camp
Last Rights
Led Zeppelin
The Meatmen
Megadeth
Metallica
The Necros
80's NOFX
Pink Floyd
Primus
Qwestion
The Randumbs
Reagan Youth
Rush
Slapshot
Soundgarden
Testament |

You give a text evaluation of my list of bands (i.e. "your bands are so ******* poser" or "damn, you got great taste", though it'd be great if you could write more than just that) and then write up a list of your favorite bands. |

I was going to, but seeing as my intentions were in regard to both punk and non-punk music, I decided to put it here.
I suppose I'll put this in there and delete it or something in case there are any complaints.
As for evaluation of your favorite bands (from the list in that other thread you made)... Your list is:
Black flag
Blanks 77
The Business
Crass
Cock Sparrer
Casualties
Clash
Devotchkas
Fear
Exploited
Vibrators
Unseen
Subhumans
Ramones
Stiff Littles fingers
Oneway system
Minor Threat
G.B.H.
Discharge
Adolescents
Dead Kennedys
Social Distortion(is ok)
Varukers
MDC
Angelic Upstsarts
Screeching weasel
Stock Yard Stoics
Sex Pistols
Sham 69
Lower Class Brats
A global threat
Defiance
Descendants
Drop Kick Murphy's
Partisans
oxymoron
Cheap Sex(ok)
Circle Jerks
Virus
Blitz
My evaluation of your list: Mostly steering clear of any mainstream acts, your lists is practically exploding with pure punk goodness. The positive melodic oi-inspired, folk-tinged punkin' of the Dropkick Murphy's and the fun in the sun arena rock style Sex Pistols alone do enough to brighten up your list, but that doesn't change your obvious grasp on raw lo-fi hardcore shown when you list bands like Descendants, Black Flag and The Exploited, craving the speed and well-delegated 3-chording. Brat punk seems to be your thing, and that shall suit you very well in future musical tastes. All in all, I sure as **** would want to have your record collection. Keep on rockin'. |

Thanks. here's my evalutation of your list.
may not get them all and probably will state the obvious.
7 seconds
Ac/Dc
Alice in Chains
Bad Religion
Black Flag
Black Sabbath
Dysrhythmia
Guttermouth
Jon cougar concentration camp
Last rights
Led Zeppelin
The meatmen
Megadeath
Metallica
The Necro's
80's NOFX
Pink Floyd
Reagan youth
Rush
Slapshot
SOundgarden
testament
My evaluation; Obviously in love with classic rock and metal cause they brighten up your list (Ac/dc, black sabbath, led Zepplin, megadeath, metallica, pink floyd, rush). Obviously you have an individual with your taste of rock because then you go into talking about bands i've never heard of not just the popular classic rock and metal. It also seemslike
you crave more punk music cause as far as the ones you posted, you've got good taste. All in all love your list and would love to know about some of the bands you talk about. Great collection |

Well I'm more into the whole only Punk Rock thing, so I guess I just don't listen to the Metal or Rock ones or anything, or whatever genre it may be there, but I liked noticing Reagan Youth, 7 seconds, and so forth. I still respect most of the non-'Punk Rock' bands you named though. Guess I never respected NOFX though, but I'm not one to speak for never actually taking time out of my day to listen to their older stuff.
I'm sorry that my evaluation probably sucked real bad.
Here's my list:
4 skins
Abrasive Wheels
The Adicts
The Antics
A Global Threat
Black Flag
Blanks 77
The Casualties
Chaos UK
Cheap Sex
Circle Jerks
Clit 45
Cock Sparrer
Cockney Rejects
Crass
The Exploited
External Menace
Charged GBH
The Germs
Icons of Filth
Lower Class Brats
Misfits
One Way System
The Oppressed
Oxymoron
The Ramones
Rudimentary Peni
The Skeptix
Stiff Little Fingers
Subhumans
UK Subs
The Virus..
