dont get me wrong Warped Tour is amazing to no end and i like hardcore and some of the old school emo stuff (jimmy eat world and stuff), but this crazy tour full rambunktious punks seems to have lost its edge to the media monster, is it just me or is warped tour not longer a punk event?
is this s good or bad thing?

warped tour has been going on for 12 years i belive and is a giant tour full of kick ass punk rock.
http://www.warpedtour.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warped_Tour

it features bands like anti-flag, the offspring, the casulties, and NOFX. but its started to be more inclusive, taking in bands like good charlet(only played one or two years), boys night out, saosin, and other emo and hardcore bands. reuslting in less punk.

like i said i like emo and hardcore, but it seems to be a loss to the spirit of punk.

and i do belive its an international tour so go check it out!

warped tour is not gay..its just gotten very very pathetic...it used to be jam packed with like 100 f*cking amazing bands...but yeah..it sold out big time...punk rock has turned mainstream..and in the process of doing that..it became watered down consumer shit..emo is for posers..depressed little kids who wish they were punks...i would still probably go to warped tour..for casualties, anti flag, unseen, NOFX(thank god there are still bands in the world who know what street punk is)...remember the 100 Club Festival in the 70's? it was all punk rock..REAL punk rock..with the pistols and the clash and souix and the banshees....we need something like that!!
