after not being on this form for a long time, i felt as i needed to come back, but coming back to a form that was so great, over runned by emo shit makes me sad. i know the people who list bands such as silverstein and all that do not consider them self a punk or part of the punk culture. plz tell me that people that like real music are alive.

In my opinion, Screamo isn't that bad, because the really old screamo bands actually made decent music and wrote awesome lyrics. I bet emo would be much better liked if the emo fashion hadn't developed. Stupid MTV bands like Hawthorne Heights also gave it a bad name.

Now seriously, some Emo is okay but MTV kills Emo's!!!

And before someone makes a crack about knives also kill emos, I have to say this:

UP YOURS!!!!!!!! Cutting yourself is a major psychological problem. I was sucidal not because I'm emo, but because I suffered from severe depression, a MAJOR psychological issue, and one many people suffer from (Princess Diana suffered from it).

Now I got that off my chest I have some more things to say
