I'm gonna have to step in and say that NOFX's latest album "War on Errorism" is really ******* good. I could care less about their older stuff. But damn people, just listen to the lyrics. They are singing about stuff you all bitch about constantly. http://www.lyred.com/lyrics/NOFX/War+On+Errorism/

alkaline trio sucks......make emo look bad

war on errorism is a great album.......rather popish and mostly name dropping but NOFX kicks ass

and i agree, calling yourself punk is the antithesis to being punk.....punk is about being yourself not giving a shit what anybody thinks....leave the labels for the weak minded conservatives of society, that feel they need to label everything to satisfy their personal egotistic ideals

the thing about new age punks is there is no shock value to be held....you see a hardcore punk walknig down the street, you're not going to be shocked as much as you would be in the late 70s.....being "punk" isn't about being unique anymore....it's simply about being different. Punks are uniformly different than society. Being punk is more of a lifestyle and than an individualistic choice

Same with my school, they all walk around in like a little group and they all wear the same jackets with all the same patches, and they all look exactly the same

I mean, not that those bands are new school. Uh, I'm just listing all them. I don't know.

The stuff on A-F records?

Most of them are fairly new bands.
