which guitar to buy?

just wondering for someone else's opinion on this question. i am looking for a bad ass punk guitar thats better than my blink 182ish strat that i've got right now. any suggestions?

you can't go wrong with a gibson sg, through a marshall jcm 800 2203 head, oh man........ you will sound HEAVY. tune that shit low.

CMON beasticle....the only good thing about an SG is the price...NOTHING can sustain nor give ya the power and yet still be creamey when ya want it to like a LES PAUL..it is without a doubt tht MOST versatile guitar made..and still the BEST and MOST POPULAR mass produced guitar EVER (next to TELE's and stRATS)

tony iommi plays an sg, which i think says it all. les pauls are great too though. i like me some gibsons is what it comes down to. but what do i know, play bass (NOT a gibson, a fender precision)& ukelele, it's my boyfriend who plays guitar.

I have a silvertone with humbucker pickups it has a great ******* sound for distortion I use a daneletro fabtone it has a booklet for it I set it at brittish stack

uhhh... yeah

ok well i came here to brag about my crappy guitar and that's what i'll do. so to the guy who asked the guitar question 100000000000 years ago: i personally enjoy my crappyass squier stratocraster (not a 'strat.' from some training package bulls hit). its red with a black pickguard and a rosewood fret-board. i added some humbucker pickups to add a fatter sound... so it kicks ass... even for the piece of donkey crap that it is. personally i wouldnt trade it in for Mike Ness' personal les paul... its got that sentimental value y'know?

oh yeah my girlfriend has a kickass BC Rich.
