Hi guys,
Newbie here. I actually don't know much about guitars. I have a brother who is getting really big on playing his Ibanez RG270 electric guitar. He's been playing for about 1.5 years now. I want to get him a good full range amp for Christmas. I'm looking at a price range of $100-400. I could really use some recommendations. Thanks a lot guys.

Eh. I don't know if you're gonna read this but here's my recomendation - Buy him the Tech-21 Trademark amp. It's a solid state quasi-modeling amp that sounds killer for a solid state and comes from a company that makes quality stuff.
