IF YOU LIKE OLD SCHOOL HARDCORE

For a band who has existed only a few months, a bio is difficult to write. We do not have a history to look back upon, but much like the inspiration of this band, we choose to look at today, not yesterday.

"Those Who Remain" speaks for itself. We are 5 kids from rural PA who have been involved in music and straight edge for as much as 10 years. Seeing friends come and go and an independant music scene rise and fall over and over again, we strive to forget about the past and focus on how great we can make today. We are passionate on having fun and never forgetting to smile.

Band members include present and past members of numerous PA bands, most noteably Blackout! Records' "The Commercials" and also a former drummer to hardcore band "Comin Correct" (yes, one of the 20).

Those Who Remain represents positive inspiration, energy filled fun, corn farms, and unlengthy biographys. Please check out some mp3's on our website...

doesnt sound that bad. i think the quality can actually be better though. i listened to like 3 of the mp3s on the site. im also from pa, and here in the northeast i have alot of respect for new bands espacially ones who pull through and come out with something good. ive seen many bands in my area fall and basically amount to nothing. i would like to see these guys progress i think they can be really good.

yeah i totally agree.
being 'straight edge' is just an excuse for being so freaked to try drugs or alcohol. but i am particularly fond of Minor Threat...

whatever... good band though

I've been straight edge for 7 years and trust me, I wasn't too "freaked out" to try anything. in fact I tried too much and went sXe after realizing that i had a lot more fun that way. I dont wear X's to shows, i really only mention if someone offers me a beer

can't say i blame a lot of people here though, before I took this path I used to try to get sXe kids to try "just one beer" to see if they like it (figured they were being closed minded, not wanting to try something at least once). I was such a jerk!
