thats the song from the soundtrack that got me interestd in her. I read that she walked on stage one time with her groceries, sat down did her show and left. Her version of Wild is the Wind is very cool. Is she still making music? DF`nD, do you know Little Jimmy Scott?

flipping through the Japanese TV channels late one night I came across a documentary on him. He began singing at a very young age in the late 30`s / early 40`s with some big band...Lionel Hampton maybe. Listening to his story, it became clear he was cheated by record companies and unscrupulous SOB`s until he just gave up singing. Fast forward to the 90`s when his career was resurrected by folks who had thought he was dead. He is still with us and making records. When his records were played on the radio way back when folks were calling the stations asking who that woman singer was. His voice is angelic and his delivery is so soulful.
You can`t dance to it very well but after a hectic day I listen to him to let go of the frustrations of living in a foreign country. I have 4 or 5 of his cd`s now. Good stuff for those quiet moments with a loved one...with or without a hairy ass.
