Longevity is generally not often associated with Punk rock so it is with great pride that today Punk Core is announcing the details for the CHEAP SEX Five Year Anniversary Show. This landmark event will be taking place on Saturday February 10th at The Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. CHEAP SEX will be joined by The Stitches, Career Soldiers, Media Blitz, and Destruct. Details for the show can be found on the band’s myspace and web pages. CHEAP SEX plans to celebrate this event by performing a wide assortment of songs from all three of their albums and additionally past members are slated to take part in the festivities.
CHEAP SEX first came to prominence five years ago when word quickly spread that the band was the new project from Mike Virus, former singer of the massively popular band, THE VIRUS. Now years later CHEAP SEX have come into their own as one of the most uncompromising, socially and politically relevant bands of the Hardcore Punk genre. This past June saw the release of Written in Blood, the third album in the band’s much heralded discography which was hailed by fans and critics alike as being the band’s most aggressive work to date.
