STRATATTACK....I am building a custom TELE..it's basically a MIM that is getting upgraded with TEXAS SPECIALS form the Custom Shop,a late 50's 6 barrelll bridge, bone nut,4 way switch...and of course a new pickguard. Can you PLEASE explain EXACTLY what I would LOSE tone wise if I were to install a BIGSBY and not be able to sting the ax through the body? AS we ALLL know most of the TELE sound is due to the way it is strung.
Thanks

| voodoo, by installing the bigsby you will lose quit a bit of sustain which is do to stringing the guitar through the body. if you want the guitar to keep intact that true tele sound i'd advice against it. stratattack |
